Wedgies

The day before the comp was of much more interest to Newcastle bodyboarders with somes of our more favourite spot coming alive. newcastle wedge was alive with a solid 4 - 5 sets and a strong sidewash making for some peaky, powerful ledges with boost sections to boot. The locals soon found out and the typical weekend warriors were into. Fellow novocastrian Sam Glohe was there to film what went down =]

2nd Solid Comp

We had our second Solid Bodyboard Club competition go down in some decent yet challenging surf. We arrived to a absolutely F*@!ing freezing morning with a solid 4 foot swell with bigger bombs sets so there were waves. But the morning high tide and strong water movement made the paddle onto them hard. only managed to get footage of the A and AA heats due to me competing and then rain causing me to seek shelter and save my camera =[

all the markings for A, AA, and AAA age groups so far this year are up on the solid forum which can be found here
